Page 1 Consider (02/22)

  • It Came From the '90s: Submit your caption for this photo of Candis Cayne Pamela Anderson at New York Fashion Week HERE.

  • Snap to It: Get ready for "the 8 Black Gays" you will meet in your lifetime. (NovaSlim)

  • Gays in the Military: A comprehensive new study on foreign militaries that have made transitions to allowing openly gay service members concludes that a speedy implementation of the change is not disruptive. The finding is in direct opposition to the stated views of Pentagon leaders, who say repealing a ban on openly gay men and women in the United States armed forces should take a year or more. The study, “Gays in Foreign Militaries 2010: A Global Primer,” is to be released Tuesday by the Palm Center, a research group at the University of California, Santa Barbara. This is good news, despite the fact that Gov. Tim Pawlenty of Minnesota appeared on "Meet the Press" over the weekend and defended "don't ask, don't tell," saying, "If it's not broke, don't fix it." (I thought it was our governor who was legally blind.) (NYT) Meanwhile, Gov. David Petraeus thinks troops may not care if gay ban repealed, noting that he's served alongside gays and lesbians, and what matters are someone's skills and smarts. (WaPo)

  • Gold He Said (Move On Ahead): Just when you thought Bode Miller's bronze and then silver medals were the keys to his vindication, the sexy skier struck gold in the super-combined. (And he still has two more events!) (NYT)

  • Growing Pains: The Internet is abuzz that Mike Seaver's best pal Boner has gone missing. (Access Hollywood)

  • Gearing Up: Stephen Colbert stopped by the Olympic Pride House in Vancouver, British Columbia, over the weekend and you know it's going to be good The segment will air this week on "The Colbert Report," but it's interesting in this clip to hear him explain his character to a person who is unfamiliar with his shtick. (Advocate)

  • Poll Dance: Get ready to submit your nominees for the 50 all-time favorite gay and bisexual television characters. (AfterElton)

  • Fuzzy Math: A year ago, Glenn Beck unveiled the first in a long series of bizarre blackboard scrawls and graphics linking President Obama and the progressive movement to extremists. To mark the one year anniversary, Media Matters took a look back at Beck's charts, by the numbers. (Media Matters)

  • One of Two Gay Dads: Catching up with Eric Stonestreet, who plays the lovable Cam on ABC's "Modern Family." (NYP)

  • The Full Nelson: University of Maryland wrestler Hudson Taylor looks hot in a singlet, and is a champion for gay rights. (Outsports)

  • Vampire Diaries: "Giving Up the Gun," the new video by Vampire Weekend, teaches us that Joe Jonas doesn't like to touch girls and Jake Gyllenhaal looks hot in short-shorts. Tell us something we didn't already know next time, boys. (Towleroad)

Congrats to Bode Miller! I have to say, after Friday nights (?) event, I couldn't stop starring at his package. He was waiting at the bottom of the hill for the other skiers and his package was on full display. Wonder if you can find a pic of that! LOL

I encourage everyone to drop by the Whistler Olympic Pride house. I just interviewed Dean Nelson, the executive director of Pride House the other day. See it here and then take a virtual walk around pride house and Whister at http://blog.virtualwhistler.com/?p=344
