Venus Envy

WATCH Canadian artist Michael Venus magically transform himself into 50 pop culture icons -- Farrah Fawcett, Joan Jett, Batgirl, Andy Warhol, Marlene Dietrich and Boy George, to name a few -- in this short documentary about the hanging of "Icons & Demigods," an exhibition on display now through Jan. 13 at the Grace Gallery in Vancouver, British Columbia. This is truly one of the coolest things I've ever seen -- some of these photos will make you do a triple-take -- and it comes as no surprise that the iconic Farrah image is the one that started it all. (And given that Venus is Canadian, it's equally unsurprising that '80s pinup Corey Hart made the cut!). And all these years I thought "Mr. Dressup" and "The Friendly Giant" were the best things to come into my life by way of Windsor.
