Not happy to leave a classic franchise alone, "Sex and the City 2" will limp into theaters in May 2010. If you doubt my cynicism, this action shot pulled from the movie cliche hall of fame should tell you everything you need to know. Ugh. (Love you, girls!)

I don't doubt you for a second. I was watching an old episode of the show the other day, and after having endured the torture that was the first movie (on tv of course, I wouldn't pay to see such crap), it shocks me just how whiny the characters have become as they've transitioned the franchise onto the big screen.
What happened to the sophisticated, confident, self-reliant, sexy women from the show?
