While it may come as a surprise to some of you that the only thing I've ever seen Elaine Stritch in was "September," Woody Allen's better-in-theory 1987 film that was directed like a play, true fans of the theater legend will undoubtedly appreciate this clip.

You really should see Elaine and Sal Mineo in Who Killed Teddy Bear? if nothing else.
Ironically, Elaine, her famous voice and the Cafe Carlyle's famous tab will be in front of audiences this week for her Sondheim show.
And you call yourself a gay man?
The definitive Elaine Stritch film is 1965's "Who Killed Teddy Bear."
While Elaine Stritch is amazing as a nightclub manager, it's a buff, shirtless, tight-jeans-wearing Sal Mineo who steals the film.
You MUST see this film. You can thank me later. ;-)
