Even though he's sort of been dead in a way for many years, it's still hard to see in print. (Two icons of our generation in one day seems almost unimaginable.) Everyone is sad....except for Gov. Mark Sanford who got pushed off the front page.
I never believed the old saw about death coming in threes, but I hear that Walter Cronkite is hanging by a thread. That will be a sad day indeed.
