Boldy Going Where ...

All of the hoopla surrounding the new "Star Trek" has me very curious about its handsome leading man Chris Pine, who reader Jon tells me played gay a couple years ago -- opposite hunky Tom Everett Scott, whom I saw play gay on Broadway -- in the Diane Keaton TV movie, "Surrender Dorothy." Anyone see this one? Sadly, it appears Pine straightened out his act to play Captain Kirk ...

I haven't seen this movie, but if you do a bit of research you can discover a series from long ago that stared the new Spock as an Iranian best friend to Tori Spelling. :) You might even find steam room pics of Zachary Quintos making out with another man!

I'm going to see it as soon as the pandemonium calms down a little. I might see it sooner if the IMAX temptation is too much to wait (it's at IMAX for 2 weeks only). I think it's great that CP and ZQ have experience with gay roles b/c the Kirk/Spock relationship has always been a bromance (and a lot more in fan fiction).
