Kathy Griffin Takes It to the Streets

It's too bad Kathy Griffin isn't the governor of California, because something tells me if she were then this whole Proposition 8 nightmare would have never been allowed to happen in the first place. Listen to how smart she is when she joins fellow volunteers of L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center’s Vote for Equality team as they go canvassing in Pasadena to promote marriage equality for all. After going through the requisite training, she went door-to-door, talking to and surprising unsuspecting voters while cameras were rolling for her show, "My Life on the D-List" (and Warren Beatty thought Madonna was bad!). Kath -- who seems to be better-versed on the topic than people who have been doing this for years -- may have even changed the mind of a 90-year-old woman, who was knitting on her porch (a real Little Old Lady from Pasadena!), to support marriage equality. If you're in the Los Angeles area and wish to help join the effort, click HERE for more information. Next Canvass: Saturday, April 11 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m.; please arrive by 9:45 to sign in Occidental College; Room Johnson 200 1600 Campus Road Eagle Rock, CA 90041
