If only the writers of "Saturday Night Live" could achieve this level of satire and comic brilliance each and every week. Unfortunately, even on last Saturday's show, this was the highlight. After the opening credits, it was left to poor Michael Phelps to carry almost 90 minutes of improv meltdown. Even "Weekend Update" was lame.
