Cyndi Lauper Takes You 'Into the Nightlife'

You may recall my raving about Cyndi Lauper's new album, "Bring Ya to the Brink," last week. At the time, the video for the disco-riffic first single, "Into the Nightlife," wasn't ready yet. Lucky for you, it is now. (You're welcome.)

By the way, my pal Matt over at Boy Culture has the lowdown -- complete with videos -- on Cyndi's recent True Colors Tour stop here in Manhattan: "It was a totally entertaining evening, kind of like a gay-pride parade with assigned seating. I don’t go to the parade anymore, but events like this remind me of why I used to, why others still do and why I might need to at some point again."

I'm sad to say that this song is a total rip-off of Madonna's "Get Together." Very, very similar sound... However, Cyndi's "Set Your Heart" is fantastic. It gets my vote for song of this summer.
