The Medal Song

Thanks to everybody who entered yesterday's giveaway for Boy George concert tickets for his Aug. 14 show at Terminal 5. Now I have to admit that I deliberately made the question sort of tricky, if not exactly a "trick" question, but something that the average -- or even intermediate fan wouldn't readily know.

As of 3:24 a.m. this morning, dozens of you had guessed "The Crying Game" but only TWO people had gotten the right song. Patrick Kavanagh, of Washington, D.C., was the first to guess "Live My Life," Boy George's minor hit off the 1987 film soundtrack for "Hiding Out" -- which you may recall was a Jon Cryer vehicle(!). (The soundtrack featured two other chart hits: Pretty Poison's freestyle classic, "Catch Me (I'm Falling)" and the classic k.d. lang/Roy Orbison version of "Crying." Congratulations to Patrick!
