Hogan's Heroes?

Despite my ancestry, I've never been to Germany before. But people tell me Berlin is a hypersexual city with thousands of hot men. If that's the case, I wonder which bathhouse this Braun razor ad was shot in 'cause I'm ready to go ... (Hat tip: Queerty)

I'm German, and before moving to Washington, D.C. for a couple of years, I've spent quite a few years in Berlin. And, while I think there are even hotter guys running about in Munich, the city is very open-minded and non-chalant about sex, whether straight or gay. Awesome place - you should definitely try to visit sometime!

I have friends in Germany in Munich and Frankfurt that kind of look down on Berlin. Admittedly, these guys are hyper-masculine, so they might be exaggerating but they see Berlin as too-artsy, too full of "girly-boys", etc. Like the way some Americans view San Francisco. There's probably some truth to that (not saying that's bad or good).

What are they saying?? Can anyone translate for us??

Translation:

1: Say, what the heck to you think this is?

2: A butterfly?

3: A car?

4: A map?

1: This is the Bundeswehr (German armed forces).

Even though I’m in Germany, I’ve not seen this anywhere on German TV yet.

What a lovely ad, even though it is not made in any bathhouse, just an ordinary change or bathroom in a gym, school or youth hostel or in an army base (never joined the German army, so I have no idea what they look like.

But forget all those provincial queens from BER,MUC or FRA, the real action is taking place in Cologne: the biggest Gay Pride in Europe (1st weekend of July, with approx. 1.000.000 spectators), a charming city with lovely citizens, tons of hot guys, great beer and not to mention the carnival.
