I've gotten a handful of nice e-mails from readers wanting an update on my eye. I apologize for dumping all of the problems on you and then not keeping you in the loop when I finally got some answers. The good news is I'm going to be OK! The less-good news is the treatment for what I have (the name of which escapes me) is to essentially do nothing -- and wait three to 12 months for it to heal naturally. (Something about letting the cells regrow in my cornea.) Once I heard this, however, I have to admit my vision got remarkably better (perhaps waiting three hours to see the doctor was enough time for the healing to begin?). So thanks for the nice comments and e-mails. Just wanted to let you I'm on the mend and things are looking up ...
