I nearly had to shut my blog down back in '06 when I foolishly admitted that I didn't worship at the altar of Christina Aguilera and the hate mail started coming in fast and furious. So maybe I'm not that enamored by her singing. But ask me about her acting. Her turn as Samantha Jones on a 2004 "Saturday Night Live" parody of "Sex and the City" is one of the funniest things I've seen in years. When people finally tire of hearing her practice scales on every song -- which admittedly might be a while given the fact that her musical output rivals that of Sade -- then I think this "reformed" whore's got a future on the big (or little) screen ...
