'Sex' Crime

When all of those reports were swirling around earlier this year that a "Sex and the City" movie was definitely a-go I think I stayed deep in denial, wanting to believe that it was just one of those Page Six rumors, that they wouldn't tamper with something that had been so perfect for so long. Even the show's finale worked for me on all levels, something "Sopranos" fans could only wish for. But seeing these stills taken yesterday on the set of the big-screen "Sex" made me realize it's true -- it's really true. (Kim Cattrall's Samantha appearance on "The Daily Show" with Samantha Bee last night might have been my first clue.) Should we just embrace the inevitable? Is there a chance that we won't be disappointed? Or will this be an unforgivable blemish on one of television's all-time greatest shows? As much as it pains me, I guess we'll just have to wait and see. But I can't help but picturing Carrie Bradshaw sitting and her Mac pondering the question: When do we know that enough is really enough?

Don't speak for all Sopranos' fans - I loved the way it ended.

I think it's got a very good chance to be good if they don't try to open it up too much for the big screen - just do what they did for TV only longer.
