The blogosphere is buzzing about these photos taken on Martha's Vineyard of Jake Gyllenhaal and hermaphrodite Jamie Lee Curtis his mom Naomi Foner (a screenwriter who's been going by Naomi Gyllenhaal lately so people will answer calls -- cough tacky).
Die-hard fans love the beach boy's return to clean-shavenness. Others think he's looking more grown up --and say, more manly. But others are wondering what's up with the "belly" and think he's been skipping the workout routine that gave him his famous bod.
Now I've always been accused of being a bit of a chubby chaser, so I think he looks a little brawnier and hot with a little extra weightage. What do you think?

Oh yeah, Kenneth, I totally agree with your assessment of Jake's "softer" look. I like his little stomach - it's sexy. And it's a good pillow for your head while you're, well, you know...
I think anyone who looks at those photos and thinks he's chubby has some serious issues. 5 extra pounds and you're calling him chubby? Get a grip.
Jake's hot now. I'm glad he grew up from the Toby McGuire lookalike. And I'm doubly glad he's not afraid to be a man: some padding to give him shape, and great body hair.
