Photo Wire Wednesday

JAMIE LEE CURTIS: Only a hermaphrodite would write a children's book called "Is There Really a Human Race?"

TRADE-UP: Brandon Beemer (above) is replacing Jason Cook (below) as Shawn Brady on the long-running soap opera "Days of Our Lives." I don't watch the show, but I'm completely OK with this ...

STILL BURNING: As a member of the Class of '85, "St. Elmo's Fire" still ranks high on my all-time favorite movies list. How cute to see Jules and Kirby working together again. This time Demi Moore plays a lounge singer in Emilio Estevez's "Bobby," which chronicles that fateful day at the Ambassador Hotel back in 1968.

Time appears to have been kinder to Jules than to Kirby.

Actually, I have fond memories of St. Elmo's Fire, too. But I rented it not long ago and was dismayed by how BAD it is. Like some of the actors, the movie hasn't aged all that well!

"We're the best and that's no jive! We're the class of '85!"

Can you believe my class picked that as it's senior year motto? The shame of it still lives with me.

Demi sure is holding up better than Emilio, isn't she?

Do you know why Jason Cook is being replaced? He's been Sean D since he was a teenager. :/
(Yes, I tape the show, in case you were wondering!) :)
