Page 1 Consider (07/12)

  • Love Bite: Crazy Paula from "The Real World: Key West" was arrested for repeatedly gnawing on her abusive boyfriend. Is this really a surprise given the fact that she hasn't eaten in years? (UPI)

  • Party Crashers: The crews of the space shuttle Discovery received a phone call from President Bush yesterday, who said he had seen part of a Monday spacewalk in which the astronauts repaired a remote-controlled sled that crosses rails atop the station, and wanted to thank them for their service to the country. He also invited the Discovery crew and their families to visit the White House after the mission, "if the shuttle doesn't explode this time." (AP)

  • Reality Talk: Is ‘Treasure Hunters’ copying ‘Amazing Race’? Yes. (MSNBC)

  • Fat Is Dangerous: The doctor who blew up his town house on the Upper East Side of Manhattan so his ex-wife couldn't have is not only a nutcase, he's morbidly obese. Now do you see what I've been saying? (NYT)

  • Stars Are Just Like Us (If We Were Starving to Death): According to published reports, Keira Knightley and Kate Bosworth are not anorexic, they just don't eat and exercise 5 hours per day. (Us Weekly)

  • She's the Boss: Model Janice Dickinson may have been fired from "America's Next Top Model," yet she has appeared four times in the fifth and sixth season of the show, as a photographer and guest judge. Even after dumping her, “Top Model” couldn’t divorce itself from Janice Dickinson, just as viewers are both repulsed and drawn in at the same time. (MSNBC)

  • Jackie Chan Goes Apeshit: OK, how hilarious must this have been? (AP)

Um, didn't you watch the hurricane evacuation episode? You're not supposed to call Paula "crazy." Of course, that's like not calling the sky, the sky.

Hey Kenneth - I must be having an off day, but I read that linked article about the NYC doc who blew up his house and I swear I cannot find any reference to his weight. Can you help me out, because it's driving me crazy and questioning my reading ability.

AH! It wasn't in the article! It was one of the pop-up photos! Boy, is that ironic or what? Reminds me of the old joke at my high school how we only read books if they had pictures in them.

No, you were right. I linked to the wrong story. I've updated it now, although you were clever to use the photo clue!
