Court Blows Gays Off (and not in a good way): The highest courts in Georgia and New York rejected two same-sex marriage claims, with the Georgia Supreme Court reinstating a voter-approved ban on gay marriage and New York's Court of Appeals ruling same-sex unions are not allowed under state law. Like all struggles for civil rights, the battle will continue on, but where were those "activist judges" we're always hearing about from the GOP when we needed them most? (AP)
