EW: Our Reporters Read Blogs for You

If imitation truly is the sincerest form of flattery, then I guess it's safe to say that Entertainment Weekly has got a thing for the blog you're reading. First my "America's Next Top Model" item graced the pages of the erstwhile magazine last month, and now a refurbished version of my Madonna-cum-Valerie Cherish post has turned up on their Popwatch Web site.

I'm flattered, guys, really. But just as I said last time, would it kill ya to give me a little shout-out once in awhile? I thought that's what blog culture was all about. This uncredited (and unpaid) contributor bit isn't really working for me ...

Note to self: Somebody upstairs is listening to my prayers!

Like many PopWatchers, I've been in a state of
protracted mourning over the demise of Lisa Kudrow's brilliant HBO sitcom The Comeback. So you can imagine the elation I felt this morning when I spotted Aunt Sassy's feathered auburn locks (near left) and pink workout togs during a routine perusal of AOL Music. Admittedly, I didn't know Valerie Cherish could get down like that, but I'm glad to see television's most vividly realized character receiving such an enthusiastic embrace from all those hip, krumping kids.

What do you think of Aunt Sassy's ''Hung Up'' clip?

That is really annoying. Tell these scrotes to get their own material!

Is this your way of saying "I need to know I'm being heard?" ;-)
