LGBTQ story archivists I'm From Driftwood are back with another evening of queer history. Here are the details about Miss Pearl Bennett's upcoming engagement:
Ever since we launched our "What Was It Like?" program that celebrates stories of LGBTQ elders, the feedback has been incredible. And now, you get to meet one of the inspiring storytellers.
This coming Monday, May 22, please join us at Stonewall Inn for the very first of I'm From Driftwood's new Storyteller Spotlight series, featuring stories by Pearl Bennett. Pearl's stories will be followed by a Q&A with Pearl herself, moderated by Melissa Driscol and Dorian Woodruff.
Date: Monday, May 22
Time: 6-9 p.m. (stories start at 7 p.m.)
Location: Stonewall Inn, 53 Christopher St.
