Harriet Tubman Wins Vote to Replace Andrew Jackson on $20 Bill

Not sure how much weight this poll carries, but 600,000 people think the Queen of the Underground Railroad deserves the honor, and I'm one of them. Rosa Parks works too, but it seems the idea of either of them isn't sitting well with some.activists who feel it amounts to "hush money."

It's progress. I have a sweet spot for Barbara Jordan, but Harriet Tubman is great too. Just getting rid of Jackson is a good idea - the original Know Nothing.

Oy. I can already see businesses in my sad little East Texas town refusing to take the new Tubman Twenty.

I welcome the new Tubmans. I can also see the Fox sitcom, The Tubmans, about her descendants on the south side of Chicago suddenly becoming famous for the new bill and it turns out they don't even like 'that dead bitch' but now everybody's all over them wanting her story.
