On Sunday, Jason Collins became the first openly gay man to play in one of America's four major sports and guess what? The earth didn't stop spinning ... and basketball was still as boring as ever. Here's hoping the Brooklyn Nets extend Jason's contract beyond 10 days. While he definitely deserves the "first" honor, it would be a shame if it ended as quickly as it began. Kudos, Jason!
