After 48 hours of relentless media "coverage," I was pretty convinced that Rep. Anthony Weiner's Twitter story was completely unraveling. (That he reportedly said he could no longer say with "certitude" that the offending boner was not his didn't help -- and then the NY Post started profiling every woman he's ever had "contact" with online.) But then I saw him interviewed by Rachel Maddow -- and saw the context of his answers -- and I'm back to thinking he was the victim of a prank, not some Internet perv. His friend Jon Stewart, however, still doesn't seem so convinced.
