You've Got a Friend

I can't stop bawling my eyes out watching this sweet dog in Japan who will not leave the side of a doggy-friend in need who's been hurt in the tsunami. Truly heartbreaking. (Via Towleroad)

UPDATE: A friend just pointed me to this -- you may have already seen it -- which I promise will rip your heart out.

I like your blog. I really do. The pix of Bradley Cooper were particularly nice, but - - I think the word you're looking for here is "bawl" unless you're doing something with your eyes that staggers the imagination. :-)

Um, Ken, are you balling or bawling? Inquiring minds (including this sometime editor) want to know!

PS: Love your blog.

I feel bad that I corrected your "balling" on Facebook an hour and a half later...I couldn't of been later. (haha)

I can't believe you'd never seen the older dog video! It was everywhere and soooo sad, I agree. The doggie he was trying to save perished, I understand. God only knows, the other one's probably dead, too, now.

So many animals have no clue how pampered they are compared to the vast majority of animals fending for themselves out there. It never fails to bring the tears.

I saw this video earlier this morning and have been thinking about it all day. Heartbreaking.

And now you know why dogs are better than stupid, selfish cats. (Yes, the gauntlet has been thrown.) Would Larry stand by your side in the event of a natural disaster? Nyet.

So sad!!!

Amazing how the comments focused on balling/bawling.

Um...Marc regarding the cat comment, have you visited this blog before? It is cat-friendly so don't hate on them here.

Correcting grammar, mattrett:
It should be "...couldn't have...." not "...couldn't of...."

Kenneth, as painfully sad as the video is, I'm glad that you posted it. Blessed animals.
