Show Time

My friend Greg in Hollywood got to spend some time with dreamy Grant Show on the set of "Accidentally on Purpose" last week (see the former "Melrose Place" hunk make fun of Greg's BlackBerry skills HERE). I can't tolerate Jenna Elfman -- even for a peak at Grant -- but it's nice to see him back on a new series. Truth be told, I'm still in mourning over the death of "Swingtown," Show's brilliant series from '08 that co-starred the wonderful Miriam Shor. Did you know she played Mrs. Sowerberry, the undertaker's wife, in the Ferndale High School production of "Oliver!" back in the late '80s? I read all about it HERE.

I too was not happy that they canceled Swingtown. I loved that show. I think I had some of his wardrobe!

"Swingtown!" Just like "The Comeback"...taken away way too soon. Loved that show & Miriam too. She was highly underrated in it.

Thanks for the link! And don't forget (or did I not tell you?), Grant Show is ALSO an ex-Michigander. A co-worker of mine at Farmer Jack's insisted she was his aunt.

I'm STILL lamenting the cancellation of "Swingtown." Fantastic, wonderful, amazing show. Showtime or HBO could have really made that show into something to behold.
