Martina Hingis and Roger Federer gave Switzerland something to smile about today at the French Open. Meanwhile, it was a tough day for hunks as Germany's Nicolas Kiefer had to retire with an injury and Spain's Carlos Moya got bumped in straights (his arms were still a winner, though). James Blake and Tommy Robredo carried on. And David Nalbandian won a marathon five-setter (I've always had mixed feelings about that one: sometimes I think he's super hot and sometimes he looks like a lezzie Steffi Graf). I'd never thought of Gaston Gaudio as a heartthrob, but Queerty has me rethinking that over here ...Friday, June 02, 2006
