Calvin Klein’s on-off boy toy Nick Gruber has been questioned by cops after he was involved in a bloody fight at a top Hamptons nightclub.
Matt Rich, a spokesman for Gruber, confirmed that the model and former porn star went to East Hampton Police Station on Friday at 8:30 a.m. to answer questions about the July 20 dust-up.
Rich said, “Police saw my name in the Page Six story about the fight, and called me on Wednesday to say they wanted to interview Nick. He voluntarily . . . spoke with the police for an hour, it was a friendly conversation, and he was not arrested.”
We are told that Nick plans to file a complaint of sexual assault following the early hours incident at hot club SL East, as he says the altercation began when a stranger randomly grabbed his crotch.
Spies said Gruber, who had begun his night at Sienna and Pink Elephant, then hit the clubgoer, “causing a laceration over his right eye.” But after Gruber and the guy were taken outside, Gruber allegedly threw an SL security guard to the ground and ran. An ambulance was called for the unnamed guy, who had blood gushing from his head.
Gruber — who we are told is not back together with Klein despite the pair taking a Mexican vacation together recently — denied fleeing the scene, claiming he left after club security ordered him to leave.More HERE.
Nick Gruber is planning to return to New York after reuniting with ex-boyfriend Calvin Klein. Sources tell us Gruber, a former erotic model, is preparing to move back from Los Angeles and restart his career. We hear he’s signed with Planet PR and is taking meetings with modeling agencies to walk the runways during September New York Fashion Week. Page Six reported in May that Gruber and Klein rekindled their relationship and took a Mexican vacation together. The couple had split in January 2012 after dating for two years, but after Gruber was arrested for assault and cocaine possession at his West Village apartment and completed a stint in an Arizona rehab facility — which Klein allegedly paid for — the troubled model fled to the West Coast. Gruber then lived with new boyfriend John Luciano, but they broke up in February, and Gruber has since taken up with Klein. The two have been spotted together at the Chateau Marmont and having dinner at the Pink Taco in West Hollywood.

Gruber then headed to a rehab facility in Arizona, with rumors that the 70-year-old fashion mogul was footing the bill and had flown him there via private jet. After the breakup, penniless Gruber announced he was working on a tell-all titled “Obsession: My Life With Calvin Klein,” and told Page Six Magazine he was the first man Klein ever fell for. He also claimed Klein once made him take a lie-detector test after suspecting he’d cheated. Gruber announced he was also working on a reality show about his relationship with Klein, having moved to LA and started dating John Luciano. But by February this year, Gruber and Luciano broke up, and Gruber had a change of heart and pulled the plug on his book. A source now tells us, “Calvin feels very protective over him. Despite all that has happened, and everything he’s done, he still loves Nick.” We’re told Klein flew Gruber to Mexico and the two met up at an exclusive resort there. The source added, “Calvin wants to keep it low-key.”
