I see the Eric Garner decision and subsequent protests made front-page news around the country. Curious how the federal investigation will play out.

No Indictment in Eric Garner Chokehold Case for N.Y.P.D. Officer
This is the scene outside my office right now, just a stone's throw away from where the lighting of the big Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center is supposed to happen in a bit. How a police officer can use an illegal chokehold on someone -- which was ruled a homicide by the coroner -- and not get indicted is beyond me, but even having footage of the entire event doesn't seem to be enough. I applaud the protesters -- this wanton use of excessive force must stop.
