Song of the Day: 'You Get What You Give’ by New Radicals

I'm not going to pretend like I needed another reason to vote for Joe Biden. But talk about a cherry on top!

In honor of President Joe Biden’s inauguration, the band New Radicals performed "You Get What You Give" as written messages from people across the country flashed onscreen. 

Gregg Alexander, the former band's lead singer, dedicated the performance "in memory and in honor" of Biden's late son and veteran, Beau Biden, and "with the prayer of Joe being able to bring our country together again." 

Their virtual performance was one of many during Wednesday's virtual "Parade Across America.”

Song of the Day: 'Someday We'll Know' by New Radicals

Anyone else remember how great the one New Radicals album was? Sure, "You Get What You Give" was better than the rest. But all of "Maybe You've Been Brainwashed Too" holds up nicely more than a dozen years later, thanks to tracks like "Someday We'll Know."
