Song of the Day: '4th of July' by Dave Alvin and John Doe
Always pick X's "4th of July" for my Independence Day Song of the Day -- but was thrilled to find this rare recording of John Doe singing it with the Blasters' Dave Alvin, who actually penned the modern classic that was included on the one X album he was a member for.
Enjoy, baby. It's the "Fourth of July"!
