L.A. Run of 'Buyer & Cellar' May Get A Visit from Barbra 

God, I may have to write a one-man show about this!

Playbill writes:

"Buyer & Cellar," Jonathan Tolins' hit, one-man comedy that stars Michael Urie as a struggling Los Angeles actor who finds himself working in Barbra Streisand's basement, is currently playing Los Angeles as part of its national tour. The L.A. Times reports that the original Funny Girl star intends to catch the production. 

Tolins and Urie both stated that they've had no communication with Streisand, but a representative for the multi-award-winning performer said that Streisand plans on seeing "Buyer & Cellar" during the Los Angeles run.

And speaking of which, does anyone believe this?

'Buyer & Cellar' to Resume Production in Larger Theater

  Via NYT: Great news about my favorite play of the year. Jonathan Tolins' hilarious "Buyer & Cellar," which just ended a run at the 99-seat Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, will move to the 199-seat Barrow Street Theater, with performances beginning June 18. It will have a 10-week run; the producers hope that ticket sales will be good enough to extend for an open-ended run. (You must see this!) Read my review HERE.
