Song of the Day: 'Lemon Cake' by Sheila E

When I was a kid, I adored all the women in Prince's orbit. From Brenda, Vanity and Susan to Sheena, Apollonia and Sheila E, I couldn't get enough. And while it doesn't surprise me to hear that there's trouble in Prince's post-life purple paradise -- Apollonia has a lot to say about Sheila's E's tribute song to the Purple One I'm sharing today -- I prefer to remember everyone when they were young and full of great music.

As many of you know, Prince wrote some of the biggest hits for other artists of the 1980s. Now his estate is putting out a collection of his take on 15 of those songs -- with these being the ones I'm most excited about:
