Tennis Tuesday: The Best Men of Tommy Paul's Weekend Wedding

Tommy Paul broke all our hearts this weekend when he got hitched. (Suddenly his "Gone Fishin'" bumper sticker doesn't seem so bad.) While he looked like a million bucks in his custom double-breasted Burberry suit -- and even better half out of it during the reception -- the ATP heartthrob wasn't the only one who cleaned up nicely for the event. Full report including a lovelorn Taylor Fritz, a mustache contest and a Mamdami lookalike BELOW.

Remind me what's so bad about "gay-baiting"? As Louis CK put it in a recent stand-up special, guys my age used to spend the majority of their time trying to not be perceived as gay, which was considered the worst thing on earth. What's happening now is called progress -- on top of being hot.

Tommy Paul got married in a garden ceremony at Old Westbury Gardens on Long Island, where the American star wore a custom double-breasted Burberry suit in warm brown wool with wide peak lapels, a cream silk shirt, a cream tie and polished black loafers. Paul worked with Burberry creative director Daniel Lee on the look, opting for a timeless style over a traditional tuxedo.

Among the tennis contingent celebrating the couple were Taylor Fritz, Frances Tiafoe and Reilly Opelka, who served as groomsmen, along with fellow players Jessica Pegula and Coco Gauff among the guests. The reception also featured tennis touches, including the U.S. Open's signature Honey Deuce cocktail, while Paul later described the festivities as "the party of the decade."

By the end of the reception, Paul had shed much of his formal attire and was dancing with his shirt open, showing off his furry chest. Looking at his partner, all I could think was: What a waste.

Jessica Pegula, Madison Keys and others were dying after Taylor Fritz's homoerotic post from Tommy Paul's wedding. Pegula replied, "Lmaooooo," while Keys joked, "You really chose violence today 😂," as other players piled on with laughing emojis and comments. Read HERE.
