Well, it's apparent from this picture that your family had enough money to go apeshit and do the 70s RIGHT! Every inch of that picture, from the couch to the outfits, is quintessential 70s. It's almost like an art director and a stylist did it.
I was born in July 1975, and none of our family pictures show such attention to decor.
Of course, I know you will weep for me when I tell you that my mom hates to put color on the walls, and I always had to stare at off-white walls and brown carpet growing up. I think she thinks that she needs to keep the house neutral to make it appeal to a wide variety of buyers when she finally sells the house in...30 years.
