Real Grim: Did MTV go too far when they cast anorexic whack-job Paula on this season's "Real World"? Who's to say, but I do know she's the only reason I've been watching. (NYT)
Discharge: A second paratrooper has pleaded guilty to engaging in sexual acts on a gay porn Web site. Private Kagen Mullen will be sentenced to three months in jail and an Army discharge, after admitting having sex for $7,500. The married father of one had charges of pandering, sodomy and adultery dropped as part of a plea deal. Sounds like gay porn pays better than being a soldier, although I doubt he'll get paid much for the gay sex he'll be getting in the slammer. (PinkNews)
First Son: Recall Election: ABC Yanks Its 'Commander in Chief' / Oh, great. How many chances am I going to get in a week to lust over Matt Lanter now? (WP)
The Colbert Report: Lisa de Moraes of The Washington Post reports that "according to news accounts of the clambake, the president and first lady were unamused by (Stephen) Colbert's remarks to the estimated 2,600 people who attended." Gee, I'm so glad that a Washington Post reporter has her finger so firmly on the pulse of politics and journalism in this country. I'm sure Colbert went into the event hoping to have them all in stitches. Thanks, Lisa. (WP)
With my birthday looming, I pictured myself saying: "Sorry, Coach: I'm not into younger guys."
