'Finding Prince Charming' Suitor Says He Was Fired for 'Liability' of His 'TV Venture'

Logo's "Finding Prince Charming" hasn't even premiered, yet two of its contestants have seen their lives upended by merely participating. As you know, the prince himself was blindsided by the fact that people would be able to figure out he'd been a hooker, just because his name and photos advertising the fact have been on the Internet for the past decade. And now comes news that one of his suitors -- 32-year-old New York native and self-described "total momma's boy" Chad Aaron -- has been fired from his real-estate job because of "the liability" of his "TV venture." Chad, whose profile says worked for a high-end property firm, tweeted that his boss knew he was going to be on the show, yet fired him anyway. This show seems to be wearing a tiki necklace around its neck to match the pearl one Sepulveda doled out for cash. Best of luck moving forward, Chad. I'm sure you'll land on your feet. I reached out to him for comment but have not heard back so far.

Prince Charming: 'I'm Not Ashamed of My Past'

In the new issue of People, "Finding Prince Charming" star Robert Sepulveda Jr. sticks to his story that he only escorted back in the day when he realized he had just $2.14 in his bank account, leaving out the part that many people say he was doing it up until filming of his Logo dating show began. Unlike his previous interviews, though, he does say it "really messed with my self-worth." Later, he vehemently denies having done porn, then says there is "one video" on the Internet that had been made for an old boyfriend ("It feels so violating that someone would take something so private and share it with the world") -- leaving out the fact that there are actually several others of his ejecting a dildo from his ass, drinking a client's semen from a condom, injecting a client's precum into his own penis with a syringe and so on. (Get your story straight, madam. Why are you saying you're not ashamed and then acting so ashamed of yourself?) Read HERE.

Dan Savage Offers Some Sexy Fixes for Logo's 'Finding Prince Charming'

Dan Savage joins the chorus of people saying the premise of Logo's "Finding Prince Charming" is fatally flawed because it makes no sense for the guys in the house to sit around pining for "The One" when they could just as easily pair off and start f**king now. But Dan takes it one step further in trying to fix this hopelessly heteronormative show, offering a couple of far more titillating scenarios -- like having 13 power bottoms vie for the affection of one topman. Or casting one hunky older bear as the bachelor and 13 skinny twinks who are exclusively attracted to daddies -- or vice versa. (Yes and yes!) Read HERE.

Meanwhile: In case you're interested, Robert Sepulveda Jr. seems to have issued another statement addressing his escort past, yet continues to come across as someone with a huge cock who is so used to getting everything his way because of his huge cock he cannot fathom why anyone would question anything he says or does. Read and see his huge cock HERE.

I'm not surprised people objected to Next's piece last week on "Finding Prince Charming" star Robert Sepulveda Jr. But the problem here isn't slut-shaming. It's lies and deception. Sepulveda finally came clean about his past as an escort, but insisted the past was the past and that he was a businessman now. But now reliable sources are saying he's been turning tricks up until filming started, and his "design firm" is allegedly a front for his escorting. The Huffington Post's Noah Michelson tried to clean this mess up by saying he thought it was a good thing that Logo's dating show wasn't so "heteronormative" thanks to Robert's past. But that's total nonsense. The show is 100 percent heteronormative -- the name, the format, everything about it. The way they could have gone against the grain is if Sepulveda HAD BEEN HONEST about his background. (Logo was reportedly blindsided.) Then the show could have been a real-life "Pretty Woman" instead of merely a "Gay Bachelor," which we've already seen on Bravo. Read HERE.

Logo’s ‘Gay Bachelor’ Dating Show Scrambles Over Reveal of Star’s Sex Worker Past

Logo's PR department still hasn't responded to my request about the subject, but it looks like The Wrap got the full story
The network was blindsided by the disclosure, TheWrap has learned, and is scrambling to contain the PR nightmare as gay activists join the growing chorus of critics for a show that’s been dubbed the gay version of “The Bachelor” and is set to premiere Sept. 8. A person close to the situation told TheWrap the network followed “standard protocol” when vetting Sepulveda and that “nothing came up during the background check.” “The network didn’t find out until well into production,” he added.
A reader of mine put it best when he said the producers of "Finding Prince Charming" must have used the same firm that vetted the Trump leadership team.

Will Logo Address 'Finding Prince Charming' Star Robert Sepulveda Jr.'s Alleged Escort Past?

See reviews and his most-impressive feature HERE.

I'm not the biggest prude in the world, but am a little surprised Logo would choose someone who is said to have been a onetime rentboy (dba Vincent Romen and "Troy") to star in its latest offering. This certainly isn't an uncommon phenomenon among gay men -- I've known many, and who could forget when Stanford found out about Marcus's past at the Soho House pool on "Sex and the City"? And it's certainly not a disqualifying detail. (I can even remember when I first got to NYC and was struggling to make ends meet and a concerned -- and better-off -- friend pulled me aside after hearing me laugh about all the men offering money on AOL and saying, out of the blue: "If you're ever short on cash, don't do anything. I'll give it to you," making a connection that had never entered my mind.) Still, can't help but wonder if Logo knew about this in advance and how they intend to address it now that it's out there. Thoughts? I've reached out to Robert and Logo for comment but have not heard back.

More dishy comments HERE.

Boy Culture ponders why Logo would base the show on finding "the one" when so many gay couples don't function that way anyway. If you're going to have a nontraditional leading man, why not mix up the format, too? Read HERE
