George Michael Was ‘Addicted to Drugs With Homosexual Tendencies,’ Says Arabic Huffington Post
I'm really not looking for trouble. But when Christians and Republicans say shit like this we have a baby. When Muslims do it, it feels like we bend over backwards to look the other way.
The article went further into Michael’s sexual “tendencies” and mentioned his previous struggles with drugs, recounting instances he was seen under the influence of drugs. The piece also pointed out Michael’s opposition to the war in Iraq in 2003. Only in the last paragraph did it finally mention Michael’s success as a musician. It’s unclear why the site decided to focus on the artist’s sexuality, drug problems and politics—particularly after the singer’s longtime manager Michael Lippman told the media that the cause of death was believed to be heart failure.
Why aren't more liberals -- besides Bill Maher and me -- outraged about the way the Islam treats the LGBT community? (Did any of you see "Out of Iraq"?)
Happy to see that at least some readers objected on social media. I've reached out to the editorial director of Huffington Post Voices to see if he had any comment, or whether the U.S. has any say in the Arabic outpost. His answer? No on both fronts.
P.S. Not sure if that translation is off, but can drugs have homosexual tendencies, besides tina?
UPDATE:
More double standards. Israel banned a public service announcement that supported marriage equality and it is being called out on it -- as it should. Read HERE.
UPDATE 2:
Apparently some Christians have tried to criticize George's life choices and guess what? People are PUSHING BACK at these morons. What do you make of that?
Grumpy Chat
From HERE.
At the risk of sounding more morose than I am, something has occurred to me in recent years. Death used to TERRIFY me more than anything. But maybe dying seems less scary as we get older because fewer of the people who make life worth living are around anymore. I think of my Great Aunt Betty, who outlived her parents, two husbands, all four siblings and a few nieces and nephews. That can't be enjoyable.
At least we have our memories, like the time Carrie interviewed Madonna for Rolling Stone (after Norma Mailer fell through!). Read HERE.
Wrestle Wednesday
Dennis Hastert would have spent life in prison if he's coached this one.

Dominic Thiem's Instagram 'Story'
Lying around in his underwear in a hotel room with Rico Bellotti? Now Dominic Thiem is just f**king with me. Something tells me there's a lot more to THIS STORY going on Down Under.
