The Day After
For my L.A. friends: Exciting news! My trip is back on, albeit slightly rejiggered. NYC airports are reopening tomorrow afternoon, so I will be in L.A. late tomorrow night through Friday morning. I'll be missing show one at Largo, but I will be there Tuesday night. Mother Nature finally gave in ...

After initially trying not to know the details of this disgusting story of six Phoenix girls -- who go to the high school that is a stone's throw away from my parents' Ahwatukee abode, so it was literally a little too close to home for me -- I was somewhat relieved to learn that they hadn't specifically gone out and had those shirts made up just to spell out the N-word, but in fact had gotten together (let's hope spontaneously) on the side for this "hilarious"photo op, (Sigh.) However, that the shirts were actually made up to assist in spelling “Best You’ve Ever Seen Class of 2016" guarantees their place in the Irony Hall of Fame.

Snow Job -- UPDATE 2
They're saying we broke a bunch of snow records today, but it didn't strike me as being that bad. (It helps that I have a boyfriend who cooks!) I'm slated to leave for La La Land tomorrow around 6 p.m. and by all accounts, we should depart as planned. (Let's be honest, Susanna and Belinda need me.) Hope you're safe and dry wherever you are. xo
