Speaking of songs, have you checked out the "Netflix Original" series (from the BBC, so how is that original?) "White Gold"? It's set in 1983 Essex, so the soundtrack is great! Didn't hear a single song I didn't know, but it was nice just hearing them in the first place. As for the show itself, well, thankfully shows outside the US have much shorter series/seasons. Not that it's bad or anything. It made me laugh. I just think 22ish episodes would have been a bit much all at once. The 6 available now are fine, and I look forward to the next (small) number of them, as BBC has already announced there will be a second series/season.
I must confess that I didn't track down the UK release dates for any of the songs used, so if they played a little fast and loose with any of them and that might offend someone, I apologize. My sensibilities aren't particularly delicate when it comes to hearing music from that era (especially if the show is NOT about the music business in the first place), since we rarely do on television. I'm just happy to hear them!
