The Apple Store/Fifth Avenue opens tonight at 6 p.m. and will be open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The store looks really cool and you can't beat the hours. Too bad their products suck ass.
Do any of you Mac devotees use this thing called "the Internet"? It doesn't matter if I use Safari, Firefox or Explorer, NONE of the sites I frequent work properly on a Mac. (And frankly, they're just not designed to.)
All of the shortcuts disappear (sorry, I don't know HTML and use the Blogger and Yahoo Mail features to bold, hyperlink, center, etc.). The one that comes closest to "working" is Firefox, but even that ATE one of my extensive posts yesterday when I dared to try to insert an additional photo on my work Mac plus everything looks weird when opened in it.
Furthermore, no Right Click sucks. And what is up with this Forced Quit feature? On a PC you can Ctrl-Alt-Del and QUIT an individual Web page that isn't responding. When you Mac Force Quit it FORCES you to shut down the ENTIRE browser for no reason. (I work on Citrix at work and God forbid something freezes on Safari -- which it always does -- and I have to Force Quit: BOOM! There goes everything else that comes via Safari!
Oh, and my iPod died after one month!
