A few more shots of Malin Akerman as Debbie Harry in Randall Miller's film New York's legendary CBGB's. That's her real life husband, Robert Zincone, playing drummer Clem Burke, although he looks way more like guitarist Frnak Infante to me, who I'm pretty sure wasn't in the band during its CB's days. Most Blondie fans aren't too excited about Akerman's look/vibe, but I like that she was the lead singer in a band before becoming a successful actress. (Remember when Valerie Cherish came to see Juna's band play on the Sunset Strip?) They definitely got the inteior right (below), although I saw some clips on YouTube showing they were filming the New York scenes in Savannah! I still haven't heard a release date, but I will see this one ... in the flesh! More pics HERE.

Debbie and Iggy 2.0
I wanna be your doppelganger
With thanks to Toby: Here's your first look at Malin Akerman as Debbie Harry, and Taylor Hawkins as Iggy Pop in Randall Miller's "CBGB." No release date has been set -- keep tabs HERE -- but it's the premiere that I'm looking to crash!
