All the 'Right' Moves

The right can trash Alicia Machado all they want -- she's a public person, after all. But in addition to lacking empathy, the thing that really sets Republicans apart from Democrats is their complete lack of critical-thinking skills. Note to members of the Grand Old Party: When someone makes an accusation that cannot be verified one way or another, THAT'S WHEN scrutinizing their credibility makes sense. But when a person is merely pointing out being mistreated by someone -- which has been captured on film, written about by the abuser in his own book and repeated by the abuser on national television after you called him out on it -- digging up every unsavory thing you can find about them in response just makes you (and your party) look worse than you already do. They really don't get it, do they?

UPDATE:

A week later and he's still up in the middle of the night going nuts about this. Listen to me clearly because this is where we now are: If you aren't voting for Hillary Clinton, then you have a problem with women for which you need to get serious help.

the gop has been playing by the same rules for the past 25 years:

"it doesn't matter whether you win or lose, it's how you place the blame."
