There was no tasteful way to cover such a tasteless -- and vile -- act. But the Los Angeles Times seems the most egregious to me. Thoughts?

Their TV CRITIC covered it?! Even if you could kind of grasp the angle they are taking with the piece, the "Did You Watch?" hed -- as though it were the M*A*S*H finale -- is incredibly tone-deaf from journalists covering a barbarity against one of their own. Wow.
