I vaguely remember that commercial -- those were the days. Thanks for the great laugh.
To this day I still find myself crying out, "Crazy Lady Pantyhose? I just bought some!" And yet, I could not remember why... Thanks for the flashback.
I still say it too.... how funny. I had no idea it was a BUFF WHELAN commercial. I thought there were really crazy lady pantyhose out there.
I too just blurt it out... It is a hoot to be reminded that it was from a used car sales commercial, and what's up with the little boy being in the trunk when she opens it. Wow!
I will still say Crazy Lady? Crazy Lady pantyhose, I just bought some. No one what I am talking about. Now I know why, I grew up in the Detroit area, but now live in Philly. No wonder people here think I am the crazy lady. Never realized that was a local car ad. HA!
I hear anyone say "That's crazy" and I'll always come back with "Crazy Lady Pantyhose? I just bought some!"

Amazing... I too have always responded in my head, or actually out loud, when someone says the word crazy, with CRAZY LADY? CRAZY LADY PANTYHOSE... amazing the impact that commercial had. Just crazy...
