Sugar-Free Ruling: A gay couple is suing the University of Hawaii for not allowing them to live in student family housing after living there the previous year, they announced Monday. The university told Joseph O'Leary and Phi Ngo that it could not provide housing because the state does not recognize same-sex marriage, according to the Associated Press. (Advocate)

Gays Love Tutus: The New York-based International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission (IGLHRC) announced yesterday that it will present its 2008 OUTSPOKEN Award to Nobel Peace Prize recipient Archbishop Desmond Tutu. The award will be presented to the Archbishop as part of IGLHRC'’s Celebration of Courage human rights ceremony on Tuesday, April 8, at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco, with the exclusive film of Tutu’s address to be aired at the group’s event in New York on April 28.
