Félix Auger-Aliassime successfully defended his Open Occitanie title in Montpellier, France, taking out home favorite Adrian Mannarino 6-3, 7-6(4) in the final to claim his first title of the 2026 season.
Sorana Cîrstea won the Transylvania Open, embarrassing top seed Emma Raducanu 6–0, 6–2 in the final. This victory marks the 35-year-old's fourth career WTA singles title and her first-ever title on home soil in Romania.
Qualifier Sara Bejlek made history in Abu Dhabi Open by defeating world No. 11 Ekaterina Alexandrova 7-6(5), 6-1 to become the first qualifier -- and first Czech player -- to win the tournament, capturing her maiden WTA singles title after starting the week ranked No. 101. You may recall the patronymicless Czech made headlines a few years ago when her father/coach got a little too handsy for the public's liking(!).
Britain's Katie Boulter won her fourth career WTA singles title on Saturday at the Ostrava Open in the Czech Republic, with a 5-7, 6-2, 6-1 win over Germany's Tamara Korpatsch.
