Wishing everyone a safe Memorial Day, as we salute those who have died serving our country. I’m actually off from my "day" job (unusual for a newspaperman) -- and have already posted my XL TENNIS ROUNDUP -- so I'm also taking the afternoon off from my blog to try to take advantage of what is supposed to be a beautiful day in the city.
