Song of the Day: 'Wait for Me' by Daryl Hall & John Oates
It's been a long time since my Best Hall & Oates Song Poll, so thought I was overdue for some of the kings of blue-eyed soul. This might be their best song casual fans do not know.
Have you heard "Do What You Want, Be What You Are"? One of my favorite early Hall and Oates tunes that most people don't know. It was the follow-up to "She's Gone" and cracked the Billboard Top 40 at #39.
When I think of Hall and Oates, for some reason "Rich Girl" always come to mind. I actually prefer "Maneater". But..then there is "Private Eyes", "I Can't Go for That" and the list goes on.
