Cyndi Lauper Brings True Colors to the Empire State Building

Although it still looks light outside to me -- maybe it takes a while for the bulbs to heat up? -- here's a look at Cyndi Lauper turning on the lights at the Empire State Building this afternoon. Even though I find her personality to be extremely annoying and think she has a distorted view of her importance in music history, I'm a HUGE fan of her music (especially Blue Angel and her solo debut, but also a lot of other stuff). That she also does a lot of good work for good causes is enough for me to forgive her, um, unusual-ness.
