Going 'Green' at the Emmys

I can't even sit through awards shows anymore. There's something about the winners' speeches and their complete inability to censor themselves -- or at least show some appreciation for the time constraints of live television -- makes me so uncomfortable that I cannot even bear to watch. Although these prizes technically mean "nothing," I was still happy to see there were some new winners at this year's Emmys (full list HERE), including Jane Lynch, Eric Stonestreet and "Modern Family," plus some past winners that deserve(d) to win again ("The Daily Show" -- despite having no good correspondents anymore, Jon is still an American hero -- and "Mad Men," which I just started watching on DVD this weekend and am already hooked on). Since I can't handle watching the show, I figured some photos from the green room were a fitting complement to this post.

I was happy to see Kyra Sedgewick finally win for "The Closer"! And Jane lynch for "Glee"!
